As noted, the 2023 compatible use implementation study recommended creation of a regional planning commission for the sole purpose of overseeing and providing advice related land use compatibility with respect to the interplay between military and civilian land uses. The study anticipated the membership of each of the CUS local government participants and the adoption of an intergovernmental agreement outlining the purposes and roles the commission would play. The study suggested the commission be called the Little Rock Air Force Base Regional Planning Committee (RPC).
