Our department has a total of 79 sworn police officers, 19 civilian personnel, 10 auxiliary officers, and 5 civilian chaplains that all work together to provide the citizens of Jacksonville a professional department that they deserve.
The men and women of the Jacksonville Police Department have dedicated their lives to accomplish our simply stated mission: “To Protect Property and the Lives of Our Citizens for a Better Jacksonville.”
