Even though it's not the responsibility of the city to maintain any of the States right of ways. As part of an effort to make the city look sharp, Beautification mows 3 miles of ditches along Hwy.67/167. Also as part of this effort Beautification is in charge of removing litter along all the right of ways. This is achieved with manpower from the city jail. Trustees who volunteer put in over 5,000 hours labor picking up over 10 tons of trash yearly!
