Crime & Accident Reports

Crime Reports

Jacksonville citizens have free access to official and timely crime data through the Crime Reports website. The Jacksonville Police Department has partnered with Crime Reports, creators of the National Crime Map, to provide the citizens of Jacksonville with a new tool to see where crime is occurring in their community.

The public can access the crime map 24 hours a day through the website or the Crime Reports iPhone app, available for free download at the Apple iTunes store. The new service even allows citizens to sign up for free customized email alerts so they can stay on top of crime in their neighborhood. Some of the crimes citizens will be able to access include thefts and burglaries that may be happening in their neighborhood as well as registered sex offenders who reside in their neighborhood.

The Jacksonville Police Department is joining over 1,600 other law enforcement agencies of all sizes across North America who shares their crime information with the public.
