Due to incoming inclement weather causing hazardous roadways, the Jacksonville Fire Department will be implementing a winter weather policy regarding ambulance transports. JFD ambulance will remain operational at this time. However, patients will be transported only to the closest, most appropriate hospital, regardless of personal preference, to provide timely and efficient care for all citizens.
