The Jacksonville Fire Department promoted Firefighter/EMTs Mike Whalen, Robert Hazeslip, and Grant Warner to Lieutenant recently. The promotion boards continue to be extremely competitive, but their leadership, hard work and dedication to the Fire and EMS services were evident. Mayor Fletcher administered the Lieutenant's Oath, while each firefighter had family members assist in the promotion ceremonies. Please congratulate these new Lieutenants for their accomplishments.
